Amazon brings NBC, MGM channels to Freevee users in U.K.

Fifteen new content streams are launching between now and the end of autumn.

Amazon is bringing a handful of free, ad-supported streaming channels from three content partners to users of its Freevee service in the United Kingdom.

The new channels come from Comcast’s NBC Universal, Amazon’s MGM Studios and the BBC’s UKTV Studios, and includes some marathon channels featuring reality and classic television shows.

The 15 new channels launching on Freevee in the United Kingdom include:

  • The Addams Family (MGM)
  • The Bionic Woman (NBC Universal)
  • In the Heat of the Night (MGM)
  • Million Dollar Listing (NBC Universal)
  • Northern Exposure (NBC Universal)
  • The Outer Limits (MGM)
  • Paternity Court (MGM)
  • The Pink Panther (MGM)
  • The Real Housewives (NBC Universal)
  • Top Chef (NBC Universal)
  • UKTV Play Full
  • UKTV Play Heroes
  • UKTV Play Laughs
  • UKTV Play Uncovered
  • Xena: Warrior Princess (NBC Universal)

The five MGM content streams will launch later this year on Freevee, while the NBC Universal and UKTV content channels are available to British streamers right now.

The channels add to a slate of free linear and on-demand content offerings on Freevee in the United Kingdom, including CNN Fast (Warner Bros Discovery), Inside Crime (A+E Networks), Iron Chef (BBC) and Vevo and Xite music videos.
