Major League Baseball (MLB) has launched a new streaming service that will allow fans of the Colorado Rockies baseball team to watch regular season games over the Internet.

The service, called Rockies.TV, will cost $15 a month or $100 a year after a one-week free trial, and is available to purchase within the Colorado Rockies’ local broadcast market.

Games from the Colorado Rockies were previously available on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain, a local cable and satellite channel that closed following parent company Warner Bros Discovery’s (WBD) decision to exit the regional sports business last year.

“By offering a direct-to-consumer streaming option on Rockies.TV in the Club’s territory, MLB is able to lift the blackout for Rockies games previously distributed on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain,” a spokesperson for the MLB said in a statement.

Rockies.TV is separate from MLB.TV, a streaming service that offers out-of-market access to games played by MLB teams beyond a fan’s home area. That said, subscribers of Rockies.TV will be able to add on the MLB.TV package at a discount price of $40 per month or $200 per season when they purchase it through the service.

Rockies.TV will only offer games that would otherwise be televised on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain. The service doesn’t provide access to games that are distributed through national platforms like ESPN or Apple TV Plus.
