The Walt Disney Company’s streaming television service Hulu with Live TV has quietly added local broadcast feeds for some CW Network affiliates across the country, The Desk has learned.

The feeds began appearing this week in several major markets, including Los Angeles (KTLA, Channel 5), Houston (KIAH, Channel 39) and Portland, Oregon (KRCW, Channel 32). The feeds appear connected to channels that are owned by Nexstar Media Group, which acquired a majority stake in the CW Network last year.

Disney, the CW Network and Nexstar have not formally announced a deal to make the feeds available to Hulu with Live TV subscribers. CW Network stations that were owned and operated by Paramount Global’s CBS Television Stations have been offered on Hulu with Live TV for several years.

The addition of the Nexstar-owned CW Network stations marks the first time some, like KTLA and KRCW, have been made available on a streaming cable television replacement. Other services, including YouTube TV, Fubo TV and DirecTV Stream, still do not offer the stations.

Hulu with Live TV offers dozens of broadcast and cable channels from Paramount Global (CBS, Comedy Central, VH1, CBS News Digital, Nickelodeon, TV Land), Comcast’s NBC Universal (NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, USA, Bravo, E!), the Walt Disney Company (ABC, FX, FXX, National Geographic, Disney Channel, Freeform, ESPN), Fox Corporation (Fox, FS1, FS2, Fox News Channel), A+E Networks (A&E, History Channel, Vice) and others for $70 a month. The tier also includes access to Hulu’s on-demand content library, as well as Disney Plus and ESPN Plus.
