Haystack News debuts pop-up channel for California Recall election

Streaming news aggregator Haystack News has launched a pop-up channel dedicated to providing live coverage and on-demand news reports of the California Recall election.

On Tuesday, voters in California will weigh in on whether to recall Governor Gavin Newsom from office.

Haystack News is offering free coverage of the California Recall race via a dedicated pop-up channel on the service, which includes on-demand news video from local stations in California owned by Hearst Television (KCRA-TV Channel 3 Sacramento, KSBW Channel 8 Santa Barbara), ViacomCBS (KCBS-TV Channel 2 Los Angeles, KPIX-TV Channel 5 San Francisco, KOVR-TV Channel 13 Sacramento), the Walt Disney Company (KABC-TV Channel 7 Los Angeles, KGO-TV Channel 7 San Francisco, KFSN Channel 30 Fresno) and others.

The service will also live coverage via a handful of streaming partners, including ABC News Live and CBSN.

Haystack News is available as a free download on a wide range of devices, including Apple and Android phones and tablets, Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku and on most smart television sets.
