Biden’s State of the Union widely available on free platforms

When President Joseph Biden addresses members of Congress during his annual State of the Union address on Tuesday, there will be no shortage of free streaming options to access the speech live and on-demand.

The four major broadcast networks — ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC — will each make Biden’s State of the Union address available through their free, ad-supported streaming channels, which are available across a wide number of streaming platforms and video services on smart TVs, phones, tablets and desktop computers.

Starting at 6 p.m., the State of the Union address will be available on:

  • ABC News Live (free on YouTube, Xumo Play, Sling TV, Samsung TV Plus and the ABC News app; also available on YouTube TV, Hulu, Hulu with Live TV, Fubo TV, Vidgo)
  • CBS News Digital (free on YouTube, Xumo Play, Pluto TV, Sling TV, Samsung TV Plus and the CBS News app; also available on Paramount Plus)
  • LiveNow from Fox (free on YouTube, Xumo Play, Pluto TV, Tubi, Samsung TV Plus; also available on YouTube TV)
  • NBC News Now (free on YouTube, Xumo Play, Pluto TV, Tubi, Samsung TV Plus; also available on YouTube TV, Fubo TV and Peacock)

Looking for balanced, facts-first coverage of the State of the Union address? Check out Scripps News (formerly Newsy), which will offer straightforward pre- and post-speech coverage along with an unedited feed of the State of the Union address when it starts at 9 p.m. Eastern Time (6 p.m. Pacific Time).
