Allen Media Group’s free streaming platform Local Now is adding two new channels from Gannett Company’s USA Today Network.

The channels, USA Today and USA Today Sports, launched on Tuesday. Local Now is the latest platform to offer the channels following similar rollouts on ad-supported Tubi and premium service Philo.

“The USA Today brand and channels are an excellent addition to our free-streaming service Local Now,” Byron Allen, the founder and CEO of Allen Media Group, said in a statement. “Local Now and USA Today both have a very strong commitment to delivering the best in news, sports, and entertainment to our consumers.”

The addition of USA Today increases the amount of national news content available on Local Now, which has historically focused on serving local news consumers. Other national news streams available on the service include CBS News, NBC News Now, Bloomberg TV and Scripps News.

“Our partnership with Local Now delivers our essential news and sports coverage, and entertaining lifestyle series to audiences that are seeking out information from sources they know and trust,” Caroline Harris, the vice president of partnerships at Gannett, said on Tuesday. “We’re excited to be part of a line-up of high-quality channels on Local Now.”

Local Now is available across all major streaming television platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV (Google TV) and Apple TV, as well as phones and tablets.
