Philo launches curated selection of titles celebrating Women’s History Month

Wallet-friendly streaming TV service Philo is offering a curated collection of television shows and movies that celebrate women in honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day.

The “Celebrating Women” collection includes “movies and shows that magnify female experiences, explore narratives centered around women, and commemorate their vital role in today’s society,” a Philo spokesperson wrote in an email to The Desk this week.

The shows and movies are pulled from channels and premium networks available to subscribers of the $20 a month service (some titles require a subscription to Starz or Epix, which Philo offers for a separate charge).
