SiriusXM to air World Baseball Classic tournament

Satellite and streaming radio service SiriusXM will air live broadcasts from every game of the World Baseball Classic, starting this week.

The tournament begins Tuesday, March 7 and concludes with the championship game on Tuesday, March 21 in Miami, Florida.

SiriusXM will produce the national radio broadcasts for all Team USA games during the tournament, and will air 15 World Baseball Classic games in total, including the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship games.

Games from Pool C will be produced by SiriusXM and feature broadcasters Mike Ferrin and Ryan Spilborghs. Color analyst Jim Bowden will join for the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship games.

Fox Sports will produce coverage of Pool A, Pool B and Pool D games, which will also be available to SiriusXM subscribers on satellite and streaming radio platforms.

The SiriusXM-produced World Baseball Classic games will air on SiriusXM MLB Radio (Channel 89), while the Fox Sports-produced games will air on Fox Sports Radio (Channel 83). A handful of games will only be available on SiriusXM streaming radio.
