Dish Network’s streaming television service Sling TV is expanding its rewards program about a month after it launched.

On Tuesday, Dish executives said the first stage of the Sling TV rewards program was “so successful that we’re going bigger for stage two.”

“We want more of our subscriber base to fall in love with it the way others have. We are increasing the payouts and prizes and inviting more people to play,” Gary Schanman, the Group President of Dish Video Services, said in a statement. “We want to make sure our customers and users have a voice and help drive what our program looks like.”

The Sling TV rewards program launched in early February, with its inaugural campaign conducted as a “watch-and-win” sweepstakes that earned customers the chance to win thousands of dollars in cash.

The program rolled out to eligible subscribers with a paid Sling TV subscription, which starts at $40 per month (though new customers can score a Sling TV subscription for 50 percent off during their first month). Schanman said the rewards program would gradually expand over time to cover all Sling TV subscribers over the coming weeks.

On Tuesday, Sling TV said its second phase of Sling TV’s rewards program involved $25,000 in prizes, which Sling TV customers have a shot at winning the more they stream content via the Sling TV app.

One grand prize winner will take home $10,000 in cash, while 20 people will score $500 and another 125 subscribers will get one month of Sling TV for free.

Subscribers can earn up to 70 entries per day, increasing their chances of winning the more they stream content through Sling TV, the company said.

The Sling TV rewards program remains open by invitation only, though executives say it will expand in the coming months to cover all subscribers. To learn more about the sweepstakes and how to enroll in the rewards program, click or tap here.

Sling TV offers two base programming packages of live broadcast and cable channels: Sling Orange starts at $40 per month and includes Disney-owned networks like ESPN, the Disney Channel and Freeform (and ABC in select areas), while Sling Blue includes Fox-owned channels, legacy Fox networks and NBC-owned channels like FX, National Geographic, Fox Sports 1, Fox News Channel, E!, Bravo, USA Network and others, also priced at $40 per month.

Both Sling Orange and Sling Blue include a common set of channels, including TBS, TNT, CNN, AMC, History Channel, Comedy Central, IFC, Cartoon Network, Bloomberg, Vice, Lifetime, Comet and Charge. A combined Sling Orange-Sling Blue package costs $55 per month.

New customers can get half off their first month of Sling TV, bringing the price of Sling Orange or Sling Blue down to $20, when they sign up by clicking or tapping here.
