Sling TV offers free preview of Hallmark Channel

Dish Network’s streaming TV service Sling TV is offering subscribers the opportunity to watch the Hallmark Channel for free.

The perk comes just in time for the Hallmark Channel’s programming initiative “Christmas in July,” which offers Christmas movies several months before the official start of the holiday season.

The channel is normally available to Sling TV subscribers who add the “Lifestyle Extra” package, which costs an extra $6 a month on top of Sling’s regular $35 a month subscription price.

Current subscribers do not have to do anything in order to receive the channel — it will automatically appear in Sling TV’s program guide. New subscribers can take advantage of the opportunity by subscribing to either Sling Orange or Sling Blue, which is currently offered at a promotional rate of $10 for the first month.

The Hallmark Channel is free to Sling TV subscribers from Friday, July 9 until Friday, July 16.
