Charter Communications this week promoted Stephanie Babin to the executive role of Senior Vice President of Billing Strategy and Design, the company announced in a press release.

Babin will oversee the creation of a converged customer ordering platform for Charter’s Spectrum-branded pay television and mobile products. She will also continue to work on a planned re-design of Charter’s customer billing platform.

“Stephanie’s expertise, strategic mindset and deep industry knowledge have resulted in major advancements to our billing strategy and design, which has contributed directly to our company’s success in the marketplace,” Cliff Hagen, the Executive Vice President of Customer Operations who will oversee Babin’s work, said in a statement. “Her new role will expand her responsibilities across our organization and help drive innovative solutions to enhance our converging cable and mobile customers’ experience, while continuing to drive the billing strategies of our diverse business.”

Babin joined Charter as a Group Vice President of Billing Strategy and Design. She joined from Comcast Corporation, where she worked on strategies for that company’s information systems from 2012 to her departure. Prior to 2012, she worked at Charter in customer operations and billing intelligence roles, the company said.

Charter provides residential and business telephone, Internet and cable TV services under the Spectrum brand in more than 40 states. The company serves more than 32 million customers across its footprint.
