YouTube is offering a new discount to streamers who purchase the NFL Sunday Ticket before the start of football season.
From now until September 19, streamers who purchase NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube’s marketplace Primetime Channels can score a $50 discount off the price of the package, bringing the cost down to $400 (or $440 with NFL RedZone). Normally, the cost of NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube is $450.
Subscribers of YouTube TV can also get the $50 discount when they add NFL Sunday Ticket to their service before September 19, with the cost lowered to $300 for the season (or $340 with NFL RedZone). The package requires a subscription to YouTube TV, which costs $73 a month and includes local ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox broadcast stations as well as NFL Network.
It is the second time YouTube has offered a pre-season discount on NFL Sunday Ticket. For several weeks, the streaming service allowed viewers to buy NFL Sunday Ticket through Primetime Channels or YouTube TV for $100 off. That deal ended on June 6.
NFL Sunday Ticket offers live access to every out-of-market game aired on CBS and Fox broadcast stations during the regular football season. When coupled with a subscription to YouTube TV, football fans have access to every NFL game during the season (except for Thursday Night Football games, which are exclusive to Amazon Prime Video and Twitch).
Streamers who buy NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube Primetime Channels or YouTube TV will have the ability to stream as many games as they want on their home network, as well as games on two devices at once when they are on the go. YouTube TV subscribers can save games to their cloud DVR for later playback. NFL Sunday Ticket subscribers on both platforms will also have access to exclusive, creator-driven content through the NFL channel on YouTube.
The NFL Sunday Ticket starts on YouTube Primetime Channels and YouTube TV on September 10, 2023, three days after the start of the NFL season.
