Miami CBS station to debut virtual reality studio
A television station in Miami will become the sixth owned by Paramount Global to debut a mixed augmented reality-virtual reality studio.
CBS (formerly the Columbia Broadcasting System) is a television broadcast network owned by ViacomCBS. In addition to the broadcast network, CBS operates more than a dozen local stations across the country as well as CBS News, CBS Sports and cable channels CBS Sports Network, Smithsonian Channel and Pop Network. Prior to its merger with Viacom, CBS also operated the premium multiplex movie services Showtime and The Movie Channel.

The plan is expected to cost between $20 and $30 less than Fubo’s current base programming package, and include access to major broadcast and sports-inclusive networks.
