Paramount Global is offering a deep discount on its flagship streaming service Paramount Plus — and, unlike other sales, both new and returning subscribers are eligible for the discount rate.

From now until Sunday, November 27, new and returning subscribers can score one year of the ad-supported version of Paramount Plus for just $25, or upgrade to the ad-free plan for just $50. That’s a 50 percent discount from the normal rate of $50 per year for the ad-supported version and $100 a year for the ad-free plan.

Both plans offer access to the same on-demand movies and TV shows from CBS, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1, Comedy Central, BET, Smithsonian Network and others. Top shows on Paramount Plus include “Tulsa King,” “The Good Fight,” “1883,” “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds,” “Coyote,” “Halo” and “Star Trek: Picard.” There are tons of familiar favorites too, including classic sitcoms like “Happy Days,” “Frasier,” “Cheers,” “Perry Mason,” “I Love Lucy,” “The Love Boat,” “Family Ties,” “The Brady Bunch” and “MacGyver.”

Starting in December, Paramount Plus is the exclusive streaming home of the Yellowstone prequel “1923,” starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren. The summer blockbuster film “Top Gun: Maverick” will also land on Paramount Plus around Christmas, available on both the ad-supported and ad-free tiers.

Live NFL football games aired on local CBS stations are also available through Paramount Plus, but only subscribers of the ad-free tier ($50 for the first year with this deal) get access to a 24-hour live stream of their local CBS station, which includes local news, sports and CBS daytime and prime-time programming as it airs on television. TV shows and movies from Showtime are available for a separate charge.
