NBC coverage of Paralympics draws 15.4 million to broadcast, cable networks

The 2024 Summer Paralympic Games was an international athletic, multi-sport tournament that held in Paris from August 28 to September 8. The Paralympic Games feature numerous parasports, which are adaptive competitions performed by athletes with physical disabilities.
The Paralympics run in a “parallel” year to the Summer Olympic Games, and are generally held two weeks after the Closing Ceremony of the Olympics in that year.
Various broadcasters hold the rights to the Paralympic Games, including Comcast’s NBC Universal in the United States, the CBC in Canada, Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, Nine Network in Australia and SuperSport in Africa. In some countries, the Paralympic Games are available to stream for free on YouTube, either from the Olympic Broadcasting Service or through a domestic broadcast partner.
