All AM and FM radio stations remained online during the Maui wildfires, according to a person with knowledge of the matter.
DirecTV customers impacted by the Maui fires are without two source of local news due to an ongoing dispute with Nexstar.
Nearly all cellphone towers are offline and more than 16,000 are without cable or broadband access after fires swept through Maui last week.
Despite the agreement, Hawaiian Telcom says it will not drop its FCC complaint against Nexstar Media Group.
