A KRON-TV photojournalist is recovering after suffering a small series of strokes at home, the station reported Monday.

KRON (Channel 4) said the quick action of emergency responders helped photojournalist Stanley Roberts recover from the strokes he suffered on Friday.

Roberts was hospitalized over the weekend and has since returned home, KRON said.

Roberts is best known for his recurring citizen watchdog segment “People Behaving Badly.” He and his daughter have been keeping KRON viewers updated on the status of his health via Facebook and Twitter.

On August 28, Roberts tweeted that he would not be on the air for a few days after suffering a stroke. It was not immediately clear when he would return to work.
