Google-backed streaming television service YouTube TV had added two new sports networks to its lineup.
BeIN Sports and BeIN Sports Xtra are now available to stream on YouTube TV when customers add the Sports Plus package to their regular subscription.
YouTube TV costs $65 a month to stream more than six dozen local broadcast and national pay television channels, with the Sports Plus package tacking on an additional $11 a month.
“This latest launch serves as a substantial expansion of BeIN Sports’ distribution across the U.S. and brings a robust library of live sports and original programming to [YouTube TV],” a spokesperson for BeIN Sports said in a statement.
The channels carry a wide variety of live sports and sports-related programming, including soccer matches from Ligue 1, SüperLig, Copa Libertadores, Coupe de France and others.
“BeIN Sports is continuing its fan focus by expanding distribution to YouTube TV, allowing fans to connect with ease from coast to coast,” Antonio Briceño, the managing director of BeIN Sports in North America, said in a statement.
Along with BeIN Sports and BeIN Sports Xtra, the Sports Plus package unlocks around a dozen other sports channels, including NFL RedZone, Fox Soccer Plus, TVG, Stadium and SportsGrid.
