British streamers with Samsung TVs, phones and tablets are getting access to more free streaming sports content on the built-in Samsung TV Plus app.

Over the next few weeks, Samsung TV Plus will debut an expanded roster of linear sports channels, including PGA Tour Channel, Red Bull Media House, DAZN Ringside and DAZN Women’s Football.

“It’s exciting to see how (free, ad-supported streaming television, or FAST) is evolving to meet the demands of its growing viewership,” Jennifer Batty, the head of content acquisition at Samsung TV Plus in Europe, said in a statement. “Sports fans are increasingly finding it to be the ideal format to engage with more from their favorite sports personalities and organizations beyond their live performances — whether they prefer football, golf, racing, extreme sports or something else, FAST’s additive capabilities within sports broadcasting provide viewers with content in and around their favorite sporting competitions, building a 360-viewing experience like never before.”

Red Bull Media House includes a slate of long-form original programming that focuses on extreme sports, music, culture and lifestyle.

“We are excited about our collaboration with Samsung TV Plus to expand the reach of our content offering even further,” a spokesperson for Red Bull Media House said in a statement on Wednesday. “Through the Red Bull Media House FAST channel, new audiences around Europe can access our catalogue of live events and shows.”

The PGA Tour Channel offers similar original content, including “Tiger Tracks” and “Tiger Trails,” along with rebroadcasts of PGA Tour events.

Meanwhile, the two new DAZN channels serve up boxing, mixed martial arts and similar sports on Ringside, while Women’s Football offers a selection of live matches and replays from UEFA Women’s Champions League and Liga F, along with related programming.

“DAZN is the home of boxing, fight sports and the UWCL and launching these channels on Samsung TV Plus will help even more sports fans have greater access to top-tier sports rights,” Peter Burroughs, the executive vice president of media at DAZN Group, said on Wednesday. “We’re thrilled to further our commitment to provide frictionless, anytime, anywhere sports entertainment to passionate fans today.”

Samsung TV Plus is available on most newer-model Samsung TVs and smart monitors, along with Samsung Galaxy-branded phones and tablets. A browser-based version of Samsung TV Plus is also available on the Samsung website.
