Gray Media has struck a deal with Main Street Sports to simulcast five Charlotte Hornets basketball games from FanDuel Sports Network.

The games will air through the recently-launched Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Network on Gray-owned or operated stations throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, and marks the first time that Hornets games are offered on local broadcast TV since the 2007-2008 season.

The following games will air on Gray Media-owned or operated stations affiliated with the Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Network under the simulcast agreement:

  • Monday, January 27: vs. Los Angeles Lakers (7 p.m. ET)
  • Friday, January 31: vs. Los Angeles Clippers (7 p.m. ET)
  • Wednesday, February 5: vs. Milwaukee Bucks (7 p.m. ET)
  • Thursday, February 27: vs. Dallas Mavericks (8:30 p.m ET)
  • Monday, March 3: vs. Golden State Warriors (7 p.m. ET)

“We’re excited to partner with Gray Media’s Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Network to make our FanDuel Sports Southeast broadcasts available to a wider audience across the Carolinas,” Shelley Cayette-Weston, the President of Business Operations at the Charlotte Hornets, said in a statement.

The Palmetto Sports & Entertainment Network was announced last August, and runs on five Gray Media stations in four markets broadcasting to North Carolina and South Carolina. The network is based out of the studios of WIS-TV (Channel 10) in Columbia.

The deal between Gray Media and Main Street Sports — which operated as Diamond Sports Group until recently — marks the latest simulcast agreement between the two broadcasters. In December, Gray Media announced it would carry several Atlanta Braves games from FanDuel Sports Network.
