The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), the commercial broadcasting industry’s trade association, announced ten winners of its Crystal Radio Awards on Tuesday.

The Crystal Radio Awards honors a radio station’s year-round commitment to community service, with the ten winners selected from a round of 50 finalists announced earlier this year.

The 2025 NAB Crystal Radio Award winners are:

  • KNBA (90.3 FM) in Anchorage, Alaska
  • KROX (1260 AM) in Crookston, Minnesota
  • KSFI (100.3 FM) in Salt Lake City
  • WCBS (101.1 FM) in New York City
  • WTBV (101.5 FM) in Tampa-St. Petersburg, Florida
  • WTOP (103.5 FM) in Washington, D.C.
  • WUSL (98.9 FM) in Philadelphia
  • WWBX (104.1 FM) in Boston, Massachusetts
  • WWRM (94.9 FM) in Tampa-St. Petersburg, Florida
  • WYCT (98.7 FM) in Mobile, Alabama

Additionally, the NAB presented Hubbard Broadcasting-owned WJJY (106.7 FM) with the Crystal Heritage Award, which recognizes radio stations that have won at least five Crystal Radio Awards in the past and honors their exceptional long-term community efforts. Only 12 other stations have won the Crystal Heritage Award in the past, the association said.

The finalists and the winners were recognized at the 2025 NAB State Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C. The NAB is in the process of gearing up for its large-scale trade show, which will be held in Las Vegas next month.
