Nexstar Media Group’s cable news channel NewsNation will air a special live edition of “Cuomo” next week that features special guests Stephen A. Smith and Bill O’Reilly.
The event will broadcast on Wednesday, October 15 from the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. and will air from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Time. It will also simulcast on CW Network, marking one of the first times that NewsNation programming has appeared on the Nexstar-owned broadcast network.
The program will be hosted by prime-time host Chris Cuomo, who will bring together figures from across the political spectrum, including White House Border Czar Tom Homan, former U.S. Senator Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Representative Tim Burchett of Tennessee and Representative Ro Khanna of California. Political commentators Benny Johnson and Adam Mockler will also take part.
Cuomo and his guests will lead a discussion on major national issues such as crime, immigration, political violence, and the economy. The event will be staged in front of a live audience at the Kennedy Center, which will also have the opportunity to ask questions directly to the panel.
Following the town hall, NewsNation will air a late-night edition of “On Balance” hosted by Leland Vittert at 10 p.m. ET. The special underscores NewsNation’s continued investment in live political programming and public-affairs discussions aimed at engaging a diverse national audience.
The town hall is the latest live event for Cuomo, who previously hosted specials that examined the first 100 days of the Trump administration and has devoted past programs to topics including crime, jobs and the East Palestine, Ohio train derailment.
