YouTube TV has quietly added two new channels to its low-cost streaming plans several weeks after an agreement with Allen Media Company allows the streaming cable alternative to continue carrying the broadcaster’s networks.

Earlier this month, Comedy.TV was added to the low-cost Entertainment Plan, while The Weather Channel became available to stream across YouTube TV’s low-cost plans with the News Plan add-on package.

The News Plan add-on is available to YouTube TV streamers with the Sports Plan or the Entertainment Plan. The Sports and News Plan costs $72 per month, while the Entertainment and News Plan costs $63 per month.

All Allen Media-owned channels are also available in the base YouTube TV package, which costs $83 per month and includes more than 170 channels of news, entertainment, sports and local networks.

The new channels were added to YouTube TV without a price adjustment. Streamers will find the channels in their electronic program guides, though they may have to manually add them if their TV guide is custom-sorted.
