Social video platform TikTok is closing its office in Nashville, which housed members of its content moderation team and other key workers, according to a report from the New York Times.
Around 250 affected workers received pink slips on Wednesday, and were told they would receive severance payments. Most workers were locked out of company-issued devices and accounts that same day. The Nashville office will officially close in October. [New York Times]
