CNN must pay record $76 million in backpay for union busting, agency says
The federal National Labor Relations Board said the backpay will benefit over 300 former employees of an agency that did business with CNN.
The Cable News Network (CNN) is a 24-hour news, information and general entertainment pay TV network operated by the WarnerMedia division of parent company AT&T, which also operates news networks CNN International and HLN. CNN’s main broadcast hub is in Atlanta with ancillary broadcast hubs in New York City, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and major cities around the world.

The “big four” over-the-air television networks were the most-watched TV channels in 2019, according to Nielsen data.
CNN fell to fourth place in the ratings last week, falling behind Fox News, MSNBC and the holiday-themed Hallmark Channel.
