Federal judge halts Dish Network’s lawsuit against Vidgo
The stay comes several weeks after Dish and Vidgo said they were working toward a settlement in the patent infringement case.
Vidgo is a streaming pay television service that specializes in professional and college sports, news and general entertainment programming. The service offers two English-language packages with over 100 channels starting at $65 a month, as well as a Spanish-language package with more than 45 channels for $40 a month. Vidgo is based in Atlanta.

Vidgo could be back online later this week after a multi-week outage left customers unable to watch live channels and on-demand programming.
Dish Network’s customer support and streaming portals went down on Saturday, with the company yet to offer a public statement on what caused the outages.
