DAZN is partnering with an Italian ticket broker that will soon allow streamers to buy tickets to football (soccer) matches from within the DAZN streaming app.

The partnership with Italy-based Vivaticket will take place in several phases, the companies said, with the initial stage directing DAZN subscribers toward a dedicated website powered by Vivaticket where they can purchase tickets to FC Internazionale, SS Lazio, Bologna FC, ACF Fiorentina and Torino FC matches.

The second phase will see DAZN and Vivaticket partner on an integrated experience, allowing streamers to buy match tickets from within the DAZN app itself, presumably while they are watching live and on-demand content.

“The close partnership with Vivaticket, a reference player for the Italian market and already a partner of important football teams, represents a [unique opportunity] for DAZN in the industry, and continues in the direction of making our platform a reference point for fans and business partner for sports leagues and teams,” Stefano Azzi, the CEO of DAZN Italia, said in a statement on Monday.

Silvano Taiani, the CEO of Vivaticket, said the partnership will allow it to get its ticketing platform in front of an audience who is already consuming sports content online.

“The Vivaticket-DAZN partnership represents an unprecedented collaboration, which will help us to be ever closer to our customers while they live their passions. We hope this is just the beginning of a partnership that can lead to great future developments,” Taiani said.
