
Telecommunications service provider Optimum says it has appointed Jennifer Garrett to the role of Chief Marketing Officer, starting Tuesday.
Garrett moves to Optimum from Charter Communications, where she worked as the head of marketing for their Spectrum Enterprise business-to-business division.
“We are thrilled to have Jennifer, with her over 20 years of experience leading brand, marketing, media, and customer base management in the telecommunications industry, officially join the Optimum team,” Lacey Williams, the Chief Growth Officer at Optimum, said in a statement. “She is an exceptional leader and innovator with a proven track record of building top performing teams and bringing businesses to new levels. We are on a journey to make Optimum the connectivity provider of choice, and I am confident that under her leadership, our teams will be best positioned to help propel the business forward and advance the Optimum brand in every community we serve.”
At Optimum, Garrett will be tasked with strengthening and differentiating Optimum’s various products and services, to include positioning and developing an evolved brand platform and creating innovative brand campaigns that helps Optimum grow its business.

Garrett will report to Leroy Williams, the Executive Vice president and Chief Growth Officer at Optimum, and will be based out of Optimum’s headquarters in Long Island, New York.
