DAZN is launching 10 new free, ad-supported streaming channels in partnership with cloud technology solution Amagi, the companies announced this week.

The channels will offer a wide range of “captivating sports content,” officials with DAZN said in a statement, and include coverage and tournaments from competitive events like boxing, darts, lacrosse, corn hole and billiards.

“This expanded partnership with DAZN demonstrates the power of Amagi’s technology to deliver a seamless FAST channel experience,” Baskar Subramanian, the co-founder and CEO of Amagi, said in a statement. “With our expertise & leadership across content, technology and advertising in the FAST space, we’re enabling DAZN to further broaden sports content accessibility for a global audience, driving user growth and engagement for the platform.”

DAZN said the channels will be available in its “Freemium” environment, which includes a mixture of other free content streams and premium networks that require a subscription to view.

The 10 channels launching this week are:

  • ACL Cornhole TV
  • Billiard TV
  • Boxing TV
  • PDC Darts
  • Lacrosse TV
  • Matchroom Boxing
  • Moto America TV
  • Motorvision TV
  • Padel Time TV
  • SportStak

Due to rights issues, three channels — Boxing TV, Billiards and SportStak — won’t be offered in parts of Asia where DAZN operates, the company said.

DAZN recently appointed Elena Novokreshchenova to the role of Global CEO for its Freemium business, where she is tasked with “actively exploring opportunities to add exciting sports content” to DAZN’s free offerings, including its FAST channels.

“As part of this partnership with Amagi, DAZN will offer broader access to sports content to a larger audience, which is key for the continued success of the platform,” Novokreshchenova said this week. “DAZN is committed to paving a new way of sports streaming.”

Amagi serves as DAZN’s exclusive partner for technology, monetization and content solutions. The company supports more than 800 content brands, over 800 play-out chains and offers 3,800-plus channels that are available in over 150 countries around the world.

Last month, DAZN and Amagi brought several FAST channels to North America for the first time, including content streams focused on women’s soccer, mixed martial arts and soccer. The channels are available via Fox Corporation’s Tubi in the United States and Canada, and will roll out to other free streaming platforms in the future.
