Charter Communications has promoted Rohan Kumar to the role of Senior Vice President of Digital Sales and Retail for its Spectrum brand, the company announced on Tuesday.
Rohan joined Charter and Spectrum in 2014 as the company’s Vice President of Digital Marketing before adding media responsibilities into the mix. During his time at Charter, he has helped establish online sales as a significant growth driver for Spectrum; integrated various Spectrum websites, buy flows and digital marketing that involved the company’s transactions with Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks; established online mobile ordering; and introduced buy flows for several agent channels.
In his new role, Kumar will be responsible for overseeing Spectrum’s digital sales operations, including Spectrum’s digital call center and digital partnerships.
“Rohan’s strategic vision has been instrumental in transforming our digital sales and marketing strategies and enhancing our digital capabilities,” Christian Ruiz, the EVP of Sales at Charter, said in a statement. “His promotion and expanded role underscores Spectrum’s focus on delivering even more innovative digital and retail solutions that further improve our customer’s experience.”
Prior to joining Charter, Kumar held partnership, sales and marketing roles at firms like Trueffect, AdShuffle and One Technologies. He is a prior recipient of NAMIC’s Next Generation Leader Award, and is a graduate of the CTAM Executive Management program from Harvard Business School.
