Gotham Advanced Media and Entertainment (GAME), the joint venture formed by the YES Network and MSG Networks, has launched its Gotham Sports app that offers live broadcasts from both regional sports channels.

The app brings more than 500 live games from New York-area professional sports teams, including the New York Yankees, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders.

Sports fans who have MSG Networks or the YES Network as part of their cable or satellite package can receive access to those channels and their live sports programming through the Gotham Sports App without any extra fees. For those without cable or satellite service, the Gotham Sports app offers access to the channels for a monthly or annual fee.

The MSG Networks are part of MSG Plus, which costs $10 per game, $30 per month or $280 per year. The YES Network is part of YES App, which costs $25 per month or $240 per year. A “Gotham Package” includes access to all channels for $42 per month or $360 per year, though customers can get their first year of Gotham Package for just $320 if they pay for it before November 15.

“Fans tuning in to live games on he Gotham Sports app will enjoy numerous innovative enhancements including the most advanced app-based live stats package, free-to-play real-time games, a loyalty program featuring rewards points, and convenient one-stop access to their favorite teams,” a spokesperson said in a statement on Thursday.
