Fans of combat sports have a new channel to watch on the free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) platform MyFree DirecTV.

Starting Friday, Swerve Combat is available to stream through the DirecTV app for phones, tablets and smart TVs, no subscription needed. The channel features top promotions like PFL, Brave CF, BKFC and Invicta FC, among others, with live fights and behind-the-scenes coverage of top combat athletes.

“We’re thrilled to partner with DirecTV to break down the paywalls around combat sports,” Steve Shannon, the CEO of Swerve TV, said in a statement. “Now, millions of DirecTV subscribers can enjoy free, live, high-quality combat sports content anytime.”

In addition to Swerve Combat, DirecTV announced the integration of eight additional FAST channels into MyFree DirecTV on Friday, including:

  • America’s Test Kitchen
  • Drool (cooking shows)
  • Go Traveler
  • Hipstr (alternative video clips)
  • History & Warfare Now
  • Magellan TV Now
  • Space Science Now
  • True Crime Now

MyFree DirecTV includes dozens of other FAST channels from AMC Networks, Lionsgate, Fox News Media, FilmRise and other content producers. The service debuted earlier this month as a way to extend free access to linear TV channels without a DirecTV subscription.

In addition to the DirecTV app, MyFree DirecTV can be accessed via the Gemini and Gemini Air streaming devices. DirecTV via Satellite customers who have an Internet-connected set-top box can watch the same FAST channels offered through MyFree DirecTV.
