DirecTV’s free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) platform MyFree DirecTV has added a handful of new content streams from the Walt Disney Company’s ABC television network.

The channels — ABC News Live, 20/20, ESPN 8 The Ocho and ABC Localish — are now available to streamers who watch free content through the DirecTV Stream app, as well as those with DirecTV Stream, DirecTV via Internet and connected DirecTV via Satellite boxes.

ABC News Live offers rolling news from the reporters and correspondents of ABC News, as well as repeats of “World News Tonight,” “GMA3: What You Need to Know” and “Nightline.” It also offers a video version of the daily ABC News podcast “Start Here.”

ABC Localish offers lifestyle programming produced by ABC and several of its owned-and-operated TV stations around the country, while ESPN 8 The Ocho offers replays of unusual and odd competitions, including air guitar, trampoline-dodgeball and robot fighting. 20/20 offers marathon viewing of the news magazine program.

In addition to the four Disney-owned content streams, MyFree DirecTV is also rolling out BeIn Sports Xtra and the Military Heroes FAST channel on its platform.

As the name implies, the channels are free to stream, without a subscription to DirecTV’s pay TV service.
