Charter Communications has promoted Dan Callahan to serve as the Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of its advertising sales business Spectrum Reach.

In his new role, Callahan will oversee all revenue-generation activities at Spectrum Reach, which will include growing opportunities for advertising and sales capabilities. He succeeds Jason Brown, who was named to the role of Executive Vice President of Spectrum Reach earlier this year.

“Dan’s commitment to enhancing the next generation of advertising capabilities has been instrumental in driving revenue growth within the evolving landscape,” Brown said in a statement. “His strong focus on collaboration and innovation will play a vital role in advancing our data-driven, highly targeted advertising strategies for clients.”

Callahan joined Spectrum Reach two years ago as its Group Vice President of National Advertising Sales, where he oversaw traditional, streaming, addressable, programmatic, unreserved, client direct and political ad channels.

Before joining Spectrum Reach, Callahan worked for Fox Corporation in multiple senior advertising sales roles for the company’s networks unit. He also worked for Fox News Media in digital sales positions.

Spectrum Reach provides custom advertising solutions for local, regional and national clients across Spectrum’s footprint, which extends to 91 markets in 36 states.
