TCL is expanding the amount of free content available on its connected television platform with the addition of four new music channels powered by Stingray, the companies announced on Wednesday.

Streamers with TCL-branded Android TV (Google TV) and Roku-powered smart TVs have immediate access to the new Stingray channels within the TCL TV Plus app in North America.

The four new channels launching this week are:

  • Stingray Smooth Jazz: Explores the hottest contemporary jazz artists in a smooth-flowing soundscape, perfect for unwinding or setting a sophisticated backdrop.
  • Stingray Hip-Hop/R&B: Delivers the grittiest sounds of today’s hip-hop and R&B scene, featuring the latest chart-toppers and timeless bangers.
  • Stingray Nothin’ But 90s: Rediscovers ‘90s grunge, pop, hip-hop, and country from an unforgettable era filled with hits.
  • Stingray Cozy Cafe: Offers a blend of trendy coffee house visuals with lo-fi beats to create the perfect backdrop for focus, relaxation, and inspiration.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with TCL TV Plus to bring these new channels to their rapidly expanding streaming service,” said David Purdy, the Chief Revenue Officer at Stingray. “TCL TV Plus is committed to providing a cutting-edge viewing experience with a dynamic library of streaming channels, and we are proud to enhance their music offering with these distinct Stingray experiences.”

The new Stingray channels add to TCL TV Plus’ line-up of 350 free, ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels available within the platform.

TCL TV Plus is also available as an app within the Apple iOS App Store and on Amazon’s Fire TV devices.
