Free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) platform Fawesome has expanded its Spanish-language content through new licensing deals with major distributors including TV Azteca, Caracol, Cisneros, Hemisphere, Intermedya and Olympusat.
The partnerships add thousands of hours of programming and position Fawesome as a leading destination for Spanish-language movies, TV series and telenovelas across multiple genres, Fawesome said in an announcement on Wednesday.
The expanded library features classic Mexican films, trending Turkish and Korean dramas, reality competitions and faith-based series. Several new FAST channels have also joined the lineup, among them Caracol Mix, Teleonce and BeIN Sports, extending the platform’s mix of free live and on-demand content.
“Fawesome’s expansion into Spanish-language programming is not just about increasing volume, it’s about delivering content that reflects the tastes, traditions and stories of U.S. Hispanic audiences,” said David Di Lorenzo, the Senior Vice President of Content Acquisitions and Partnerships at parent company Future Today. “This initiative marks a major milestone in elevating content offerings for one of the fastest-growing streaming demographics we’ve seen across our platforms.”
Fawesome currently offers more than 150,000 movies and TV shows and has posted steady growth in Spanish-language viewership. The expansion supports Future Today’s broader effort to strengthen its presence among Hispanic audiences, one of the fastest-growing segments in streaming.
The move follows Future Today’s recent collaboration with Jorge Balleste, a former TelevisaUnivision executive who now leads the company’s Hispanic content strategy. Working with Di Lorenzo, Balleste focuses on identifying, acquiring and programming shows that reflect the experiences of Hispanic viewers across the U.S.
“Fawesome is uniquely positioned to serve the growing U.S. Hispanic audience because of its massive reach, brand-safe environment and access to high-quality culturally relevant content at no cost,” Balleste said. “We’re creating a home where Hispanic viewers can see themselves, their stories and their experiences authentically represented.”
Future Today said the expansion underscores Fawesome’s mission to provide diverse free entertainment that mirrors the cultural depth of its audience. The company continues to build its portfolio of ad-supported content as competition intensifies in the free streaming space.
All new programming is available to stream now on Fawesome’s app and website.
