Former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is joining Fox News Media as a contributor, where she will provide political commentary and analysis across the company’s platforms.

Leavitt will begin her new role November 1, Fox News Media Chief Executive Officer Suzanne Scott announced Monday.

“Karoline’s firsthand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gives her a distinct understanding of today’s political landscape,” Scott said. “We look forward to her providing our audience with authentic and sharp insight across all Fox News Media platforms.”

Leavitt served as White House Press Secretary from January 2025 until August 2026 during President Donald Trump’s second administration. She became the youngest person in U.S. history to hold the position and regularly represented the administration before the White House press corps.

Before joining the White House, Leavitt served as National Press Secretary for Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign.

She previously ran as the Republican candidate for New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District in 2022 and served as Communications Director for then-House Republican Conference Chair Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York.

Leavitt also worked during Trump’s first administration as a presidential writer and Assistant Press Secretary.

Her relationship with Fox News predates her work in national politics: Leavitt interned at Fox News Channel during the 2016 presidential election while attending Saint Anselm College. She graduated in 2019 with a degree in politics and communication.
