MyBundle to launch streaming bundle with My Outdoors TV, Tastemade

MyBundle will soon offer a premium package that couples lifestyle and adventure service My Outdoor TV with food-focused Tastemade Plus, The Desk has learned.

The bundle will be priced at $11 per month and sold through MyBundle’s direct-to-consumer subscription marketplace and through a similar white-label marketplace offered to its broadband and cable partners.

The formation of the bundle comes after MyBundle signed a distribution agreement with Outdoor Sportsman Group, the company behind My Outdoor TV (stylized as MyOutdoorTV, MOTV). As part of the agreement, Outdoor Sportsman Group will use MyBundle’s native payment processing and subscription management tool, which will allow streamers to sign up and manage their MOTV and the forthcoming bundle right from the MyBundle app.

“Outdoor lifestyle and adventure programming resonates with many customers in the growing MyBundle broadband partner network. We are very pleased to enter into an agreement with OSG as our latest content distribution partnership and bring My Outdoor TV to the MyBundle Streaming Marketplace with turnkey billing integration,” Jason Cohen, the co-founder and CEO of MyBundle, said in a statement. “Together, we will work to identify and target potential high-value subscribers and help drive new MOTV premium [subscription vide-on demand] subscriber growth. MyBundle continues to be the partner of choice for a growing number of streaming services and broadband providers looking to optimize new subscriber growth and subscriber life in these riveting and dynamic times for the business.”

“OSG is thrilled to collaborate with MyBundle in showcasing the great value and deep outdoor lifestyle and adventure content offerings MyOutdoorTV offers to potential new subscribers,” Sean Luxton, the Senior Vice President at OSG and General Manager of MOTV, said on Tuesday. “Premium subscribers to MyOutdoorTV have access to 6 live channels, raw and fresh footage from the woods and waters available within the ‘Just Shot’ and ‘Just Caught’ libraries, ‘Quick Shots’ short form content and more than 20,000 episodes of quality outdoor entertainment that MyBundle will help us bring to new audience.”

MOTV offers six linear content channels that are aimed at adventure-seekers and enthusiasts of the outdoors, including commercial-free streams dedicated to fishing and hunting. There are also more than 20,000 episodes from TV shows that air on OSG’s traditional linear content channels, including Outdoor Channel, Sportsman Channel and World Fishing Network.

MOTV will cost $10 per month when purchased through MyBundle, which is the same price that OSG charges for the service. The bundle with Tastemade Plus will cost $11 per month, or $5 less than what each service would cost on its own.
