KMAX-TV (Channel 31) is a CBS station broadcasting to the Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto television market in Northern California. The station is owned by CBS Television Stations, a subsidiary of ViacomCBS, and is part of a local duopoly with Sacramento-area CW station KOVR (Channel 13).
