The affirmation comes weeks after a Dish spokesperson said a “limited number” of employee records were compromised.
The new streams include three from FilmRise and several Spanish-language channels.
Sling Freestream is adding six new channels and hundreds of Spanish-language television shows from Canela.TV.
The six new channels bring the total number of linear content streams to over 370 on Sling Freestream.
The new free streams include two channels from FilmRise, and adds to Sling Freestream’s growing list of over 340 linear content channels.
The company saw its linear business bring in 7 percent less revenue during Q2 2023, but still posted a profit of $1.828 billion.
Dish Network saw more than 550,000 customers leave its two pay television products during the previous financial quarter.
Dish Network says no customer data was obtained during a cybersecurity incident that took internal systems down in mid-February.
Dish Network’s free television service Sling Freestream is adding 12 exclusive channels this week, the company announced on Thursday.
The service has been adding new channels at a steady rate since the Sling Freestream brand launched in February 2023.
