A streaming service backed by Tyler Perry Studios has crossed 1 million subscribers, according to a report.

Trade publication Deadline said on Monday the service known as BET Plus reached its milestone less than a year after launching.

The milestone hit less than two weeks from the debut of Tyler Perry’s newest show “Madea’s Farewell Play.”

The service launched as a partnership between Tyler Perry Studios and BET Networks, a subsidiary of ViacomCBS. The commercial-free service includes TV shows from the BET cable channel coupled with Tyler Perry’s film and episodic content for $10 a month.

BET Plus is available on streaming hardware devices manufactured by Apple, Google, Roku and Amazon. The service is sold directly to consumers as well as through a partnership with Amazon’s Prime Video Channels.
