Radio platforms SiriusXM and TuneIn will offer live coverage of Major League Baseball games throughout the 2022 season.

On Tuesday, SiriusXM Pandora said MLB games will air across 30 streaming play-by-play channels that will offer the home and away broadcasts of every team. The streaming channels are also available in cars that are equipped with SiriusXM 360L-capable radios, which offer streaming and satellite radio channels on a single platform.

SiriusXM’s streaming channels are accessible through the SiriusXM app for smartphones, tablets and smart TVs along with Alexa- and Google Assistant-equipped smart speakers like the Amazon Echo and Google Nest Mini.

A select number of games will also be available to traditional satellite radio subscribers with receivers capable of pulling in XM’s signal, including newer SiriusXM receivers. The satellite platform is also offering listeners the MLB Radio Network on SiriusXM Channel 89, which offers audio simulcasts of MLB Network programming and standalone shows like “High Heat with Christopher Russo.”

SiriusXM’s audio simulcasts of baseball games and related programming is offered in the satellite and streaming radio service’s “Platinum” package, which costs $23 a month plus taxes and fees, though the package is often discounted to as little as $6 a month for new subscribers.

For baseball enthusiasts who want a cheaper streaming option, audio platform TuneIn is offering play-by-play broadcasts of MLB games along with access to local and national sports radio channels. The MLB audio simulcasts are available to subscribers of TuneIn’s premium service, which costs $10 a month, and can be accessed via TuneIn’s website and apps for smartphones, tablets and smart TV sets.
