Cox Communications says it will add three national channels programmed by the Allen Media Group to its streaming television service.

The channels — JusticeCentral.tv, Comedy.TV and Recipe.TV — will join the Weather Channel and more than two dozen Allen Media Group-owned local broadcast stations on Cox’s Contour TV streaming service, which is available to broadband customers in some of Cox’s cable markets.

“We greatly appreciate the entire Cox Communications team for recognizing the value of these entertaining, informative, and engaging television networks, and we look forward to a long relationship with Cox Communications for years to come,” Byron Allen, the founder of Allen Media Group, said in a statement released this week.

In a similar statement, Cox executives said they were pleased to add the channels to Contour TV for their streaming customers.

“Our priority is to add new, fresh content to keep our customers engaged and entertained,” Suzanne Fenwick, the senior executive in charge of content acquisitions at Cox, said in a press release.
