NBC Fall Schedule: Network to launch Friday comedy block

NBC is scheduled to debut a new comedy block later this year, with a new program starring George Lopez and a return of the popular “Young Rock” sitcom.

The shows were revealed during NBC’s network upfront presentation this week, where details of the fall lineup were offered to potential advertisers.

Along with the sitcoms, NBC will return its popular Chicago-based drama series on Wednesday nights as well as the singing competition “The Voice” on Mondays and Tuesdays.

The full NBC fall lineup follows below (all times Eastern and Pacific):

Sunday

  • 7:00 PM: Football Night in America (also on Peacock)
  • 8:20 PM: NBC Sunday Night Football (also on Peacock)

Monday

  • 8:00 PM: The Voice (2 hours)
  • 10:00 PM: Quantum Leap [NEW]
  • 11:00 PM: (Local programming)

Tuesday

  • 8:00 PM: The Voice
  • 9:00 PM: La Brea
  • 10:00 PM: New Amsterdam
  • 11:00 PM: (Local programming)

Wednesday

  • 8:00 PM: Chicago Med
  • 9:00 PM: Chicago Fire
  • 10:00 PM: Chicago P.D.
  • 11:00 PM: (Local programming)

Thursday

  • 8:00 PM: Law & Order

Friday

Most of NBC’s comedies, dramas and news programming will be available on the company’s streaming service Peacock one day after it airs on the network.
