Fox Weather gets expanded cable, streaming distribution

Fox News Media’s free streaming weather service Fox Weather is now available in even more places, the company announced on Tuesday.

Startun Tuesday, the streaming weather-centric network is available to customers of LG’s smart television sets who watch free content through LG Channels. The network is also available on Charter’s Spectrum and Altice’s Optimum cable television systems.



“Fox Weather has now become a destination for viewers across many major providers with this expanded distribution,” Sharri Berg, Fox Weather’s president, said in a statement. “I am incredibly proud of America’s Weather Team as we continue to expand our best-in-class weather service.”

On cable, Fox Weather is now available in most areas on Spectrum Channel 217, while Optimum customers in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut can find Fox Weather on Channels 186 or 193. Exact channel location might vary based on location.



Fox Weather is also available on a number of other pay television systems and free streaming platforms, including Tubi, DirecTV Stream, YouTube TV, Vidgo, Fubo TV, Verizon Fios, the Roku Channel, Comcast’s Xumo Play, Plex and the audio service TuneIn. A live stream of Fox Weather is available within the free Fox Weather app and on the Fox Weather website.

Fox Weather and Fox News Media are part of Fox Corporation, which also includes the Fox broadcast network, Fox Sports and Tubi.
