Google’s YouTube TV and Nexstar Media Group have signed a deal to bring nearly five dozen Nexstar-owned CW Network and othr local stations to the streaming service.

The deal comes after Nexstar acquired a majority stake in the CW Network from Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) and Paramount Global late last year.

“We are extremely pleased to have reached agreement to continue carriage of its CW-affiliated stations on YouTube TV, especially as we move forward with our plans to transform The CW with additional sports programming and a new slate of prime-time entertainment shows this fall,” Dennis Miller, the president of the CW Network, said in a statement. “YouTube TV is an important partner for our affiliates and us, and we look forward to expanding our relationship and growing our audience via this dynamic platform.”

The agreement with YouTube TV covers 59 owned-and-operated CW Network stations, including those in New York City, Los Angeles and Houston, as well as several MyNetwork-affiliated and independent channels.

YouTube TV subscribers won’t see their price increase as a result of the deal. The cost of YouTube TV’s base subscription package is $65 a month and includes access to local ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC and PBS stations and affiliates through most of the country.
