Fox Nation, “Live PD” host team up for new true-crime show

Streaming service Fox Nation is debuting a new true-crime series hosted by Sgt. Sean “Sticks” Larson, a retired police officer and former on-air analyst for the A&E series “Live PD.”

The show, called “CrimeCam 24/7,” tells the story of true crime events captured on surveillance cameras, with video from those events factoring heavily in the show’s coverage.

The series builds on Fox Nation’s library of true crime content, including the reboot of the iconic Fox show “Cops.”

“After green-lighting the iconic series Cops back in 2021, we saw how engaged our subscribers are in the real of true crime, and we are thrilled to offer new content from this genre to meet the strong demand,” Jason Klarman, the president of Fox Nation, said in a statement. “As a former member of law enforcement, Sticks is the perfect voice to bring this show to life.”

Larkin is best known to viewers as one of two on-air analysts for A&E’s true-crime series “Live PD,” which the network canceled in mid-2020 amid national protests calling for police reform.

CrimeCam 24/7 won’t be the same as Live PD: Instead of relying on real-time video feeds from law enforcement encounters, the series will see Larkin guide viewers through various video clips from surveillance cameras that captured actual crimes in progress, as well as the aftermath of those crimes.

The first episode, titled “Shootout,” will start streaming on Friday, July 7, with Fox Nation serving as the exclusive distributor of the program. New episodes of the show will stream every Friday at 6 p.m. Eastern Time.

Fox Nation costs $6 a month or $65 a year, though members of law enforcement, first responders, paramedics and active duty military service members can get 12 months of Fox Nation for free when they verify their affiliation through SheerID. The streaming service is available on a wide variety of streaming TV platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV (Google TV) and Apple TV, as well as phones, tablets, Internet-connected cable boxes, desktop and laptop computers.

Fox Nation is owned by Fox News Media, which also operates the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network.
