Amazon is adding two channels programmed by Bloomberg Television to its free, ad-supported streaming service Freevee in three more countries.

This week, Freevee streamers in the United States, the United Kingdom and Germany have access to Bloomberg TV Plus, as well as Bloomberg’s dedicated streaming channel Bloomberg Originals.

The addition of Bloomberg TV Plus and Bloomberg Originals in the three new territories comes as the financial media brand expands its domestic and international reach. Both channels were previously rolled out to Freevee users in Australia, Canada, Mexico and Brazil, the companies said this week.

“It’s no secret that audiences are moving [toward] streaming to consume both news and entertainment,” Travis Winkler, the general manager of video and audio at Bloomberg Media, said in a statement. “We’ve been ahead of that curve and now, with the launch of the Bloomberg TV Plus and Bloomberg Originals channels on Amazon Freevee, we can reach an even wider audience. We’re keeping our viewers informed and entertained, whether it’s the latest reporting from around the world or a new series from Bloomberg Originals.”

Bloomberg Originals consists of documentaries, video podcasts and other series that were produced exclusively for online consumption. The channel also simulcasts programming from Bloomberg Radio during parts of the business day

Bloomberg TV Plus is a straight simulcast of Bloomberg Television, with its video feed wrapped around financial data and market news throughout the day. The channel first launched in the United States on Samsung TV Plus, where it is offered in ultra high-definition (UHD/4K) on compatible devices.

Amazon continues to market Freevee as a destination for no-cost entertainment, and has been particularly aggressive in signing additional deal with news and sports content providers. Over the past few months, Amazon has reached with Comcast’s NBC, Fox Corporation and the Walt Disney Company to bring national news channels like NBC News Now, ABC News Live, LiveNow from Fox and Fox Weather to the platform.

Local news from NBC and ABC owned-and-operated stations is also available within Freevee, while Fox Television Stations provides news feeds of its stations through Amazon’s Fire TV Channels platform in the United States.
