Free television platform FreeCast has added several new channels from the digital studio firm TheSoul Publishing, the companies announced on Monday.

The channels, available in English and Spanish, represent some of the top digital brands offered by TheSoul Publishing, including “123 Go!,” “5 Minute Crafts,” “Slick Slime Sam,” “Bright Side” and “Genial.”

“This is an exciting deal for us because it brings so much varied content,” Tracy West, the Executive Vice President of Digital content at FreeCast, said in a statement. “Live channels and video on demand in English and in Spanish ensures there is something for everyone, whoever they are and however they want to watch. It’s always a win for us when we’re able to give our customers those options, and we’re proud to have a robust selection of content for Spanish-speakers with our Mis Canales offering”

“TheSoul is excited to bring our content to FreeCast,” Jonathan Shrank, TheSoul’s Direct of Streaming Content Digital Partnerships, said on Monday. “We know viewers want to watch our content on a variety of different platforms, and this partnership gives them another opportunity to do just that. We’re also looking forward to new viewers getting to experience our content for the first time!”

TheSoul’s content studios have a collective 2 billion followers across various social media platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.

FreeCast operates as a free television ecosystem that marries broadcast television with linear streaming content channels. More than 500 linear content streams are available through the FreeCast app for televisions, phones and tablets, and a whole home streaming gateway that uses a white-label HD HomeRun brings broadcast networks like ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC into the mix for a one-time purchase.
