Warner Bros Discovery’s (WBD) blockbuster streaming service Max is offering a deep discount on its subscription plans ahead of the NCAA March Madness tournament.
Starting this week, new and existing customers who sign up or renew their Max membership by clicking or tapping this link will score a discount that shaves more than 40 percent off the price of service for the first year.
The deal is available to new and former customers of Max who sign up for an account and pre-pay for one year of service. The discount is also available to current customers with monthly plans who switch their accounts over to annual billing, as well as current annual subscribers who are looking to shave a little money off their next renewal charge.
New and existing subscribers who switch to annual billing by clicking or tapping this link have three plan options to choose from:
Max with Ads typically costs $10 per month or $100 per year, and allows streamers to watch content from Max with short ad interruptions on up to two devices at once. When streamers pay for a year by clicking or tapping this link, the price of Max with Ads is reduced to $70 for the first year, a discount of 42 percent off the normal monthly rate.
Max Ad-Free costs $16 per month or $150 per year, and includes everything in Max with Ads — except, of course, the ads. On top of commercial-free streaming, Max Ad-Free allows streamers to download 30 movies or TV episodes to their phones and tablets for offline viewing. When streamers pay for a year of Max Ad-Free by clicking or tapping this link, the price is lowered to $105 for the first year, a savings of 45 percent off the normal monthly price.
Max Ultimate Ad-Free costs $20 per month or $200 per year, and includes everything in Max Ad-Free along with additional perks. The number of devices that can stream content at once is increased to 4, the number of offline downloads goes up to 100, and content streams in ultra-high definition (UHD/4K) resolution with Dolby Atmos immersive audio on supported devices like smart TVs and some phones and tablets. When streamers pay for a year of Max Ultimate Ad-Free by clicking or tapping this link, the price is lowered to $140 for the first year, a savings of 45 percent off the normal monthly price.
All three Max plans include the Bleacher Report live sports add-on for a limited time. The sports add-on includes live events from TNT Sports, including NBA, MLB, NHL and USA Soccer games aired on TNT, TBS and Tru TV, along with a handful of live events from WBD-owned sports network Eurosport.
The Bleacher Report add-on will also offer access to games aired on TNT Sports from the NCAA’s March Madness tournament, which starts on Thursday, March 21. When paired with a subscription to Paramount Plus with Showtime (price: $12 per month, includes a free trial), college basketball fans will have streaming access to every game played during the tournament this year.
